For centuries, the waters of Bahrain were renowned for their natural pearl fisheries. Formed entirely without human intervention and traditionally recovered through pearl diving, Bahraini pearls possess an extraordinary natural character — exceptional lustre, depth of colour, individuality and an unmistakable organic beauty.
Today, genuine natural Bahraini pearls are exceptionally scarce. Unlike cultured pearls, which are deliberately cultivated and produced at scale, natural pearls occur by chance in nature. Every one is therefore inherently finite and impossible to reproduce.
For the collector, that distinction matters.

At AURUM LUSTRE, we do things differently.
The pearl comes first. The jewellery comes second.
We source pearls based on their quality, rarity, provenance, shape, colour, lustre and individual character. Once an exceptional pearl has been selected, we design the jewellery specifically around it.
We do not force a pearl into a predetermined setting.
Instead, the setting is created to complement the individual pearl and reveal what makes it exceptional.
This approach means that each creation is inherently individual. Many are completely one-of-a-kind.
